Of all the spiritual teachers I met in my travels in India and Tibet, Pearl was the most unique. She gave the core essence of God Within the heart, which it makes all other teachings work. It is available now on pre-publication sale at Apple’s iBooks (release date January 1st), or after that date from www.smashwords.com in multiple eBook formats, including as a pdf file readable on all computers.

BookImage3DCropedThis is the first part of my autobiography about growing up in the West and gradually awakening spiritually to the truth of the inner spiritual presence. Included are my adventures on New York’s Lower East Side in the late ’60s and early ’70s as part of the Woodstock Generation. Hearing Ram Dass interviewed on NPR pulled me to India, where I hung out with Ram Dass and his guru, Neem Karoli Baba (Maharajji).  I also met Sathya Sai Baba, Anandamayi Ma, Trungpa Rinpoche, Chagdud Rinpoche and Joseph Sunhawk, all of which meetings were transformative. Each of these great souls moved me closer to the realization of the inner Guru, which we all find in the end.

This book ends on the Golden Gate Bridge on the way to Muir Woods, across the bay from San Francisco, where Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the Masters begins.

“A western Autobiography of a Yogi.”

Available in January as an eBook on Kindle, iBook, Kobo, etc.
